I finally got hold of some photo's of shoots that I styled for before Christmas. Firstly I pulled pieces for Schon magazine; with a fetish theme it was quite an interesting collection of items we ended up with and some curious individuals I met along the way!
I absolutely love this shot, the backdrop and the model together are nothing but beautiful! I may have a little crush on her too, with my eyes drawn to her artwork..I have to give credit to my sister's collection of fab shoes with these booties being one of her pairs. Its a shame my size 8 lanky feet wouldn't squeeze in them!
I love the shadowing on these photos, it works so well with the raw dark mood being projected by the model. The leather piece I pulled from a master of leather craftsman. I visited her studio in East India and it was such a nice setting for an independent creator.
The next shoot I worked on was for Noi.se Magazine and that was really fun as I actually assisted on the shoot and got to see the photos as we went along and have much more input.
With a very flexible model and a great team the photos came off really well. High end sports was our brief and so off I went to search the PRs and designers of London.
I really wanted to use the David Koma dresses I mentioned in my previous post, but unfortunately they were out on loan already.
I did however find a fabulous Paul Costelloe dress (above) which I thought completely met the brief giving a femininity to the photo. This bejewelled boxing helmet was an amazing find by my stylist I work with.
