The One That Got Away

Katy Perry is my guilty pleasure, whether it be an up beat poppy tune or a slow sentimental theme she always gets me singing along. She gives off a great energy and just seems to be always having fun! Im sure having a funny gent as your hubby certainly helps, but that doesn't stop her locking lips with the beautiful Diego Luna, a dishevelled Mexican pretty who plays her love interest in her latest video. I seem to be enjoying what the lovely ladies of pop's casting eyes select...bring me more! x

Walk The Walk

So I finally got a couple of snaps from the catwalk I did at LFW! Unfortunately with the designers being young and new to the world of making clothes this was not quite the fitting number I would have liked! Hopefully I'll get to do the show again in February and Im definitely going to request something a little more loving to my figure! x

I ♥ Bradshaw

Skirt: Arrogant Cat
Boots: Office
Top: Vintage
Necklace: Portobello Market
Bracelet: Accessorize
Rings: Moon and Star

I've had this skirt for about five years and of course I think it pays homage to every girls favourite show's leading character; Carrie Bradshaw. The opening titles and that night in Paris see Miss B wearing a tutu, both the green and white I adore and I think it certainly sprang to mind when I saw my favourite piece from DVF's SS 2012 collection. This skirt was one of my more lavish purchases but its a special something something to have forever. x

All Hallows Eve

Romance, colour and gothic fairy tales came to mind when thinking of autumn and with halloween upon us.
Practically magical. x

We've found love in him...

The fabulous new tune by Rihanna showed off the beautiful Dudley O'Shaughnessy as her love interest. The video was as raunchy as ever and showed the power of love, obsession and drugs. With his amazing eyes and cheek bones, and of course the body you do become fixated and entranced like the characters we're viewing.

Oh Jeffrey

Perusing through the Nasty Gal website I got a little excited at these disco glamour, platform lace ups by Jeffrey Campbell. I want to have big curls in my hair, little hotpants and bubble gum pink lip gloss and go dancing Saturday Night Fever style. Not one normally for a glittery shoe these are a little bit special. x

Swinging when your winning...

I absolutely love my new dress and wore it out last night for my little sisters birthday, she too came in the spirit of the sixties with her new Topshop dress in full swing. Mini and looking like a Missoni print, mine was a bargain from a little boutique in Richmond, I loved the sleeves and the only problem with me being so tall was it riding up!
Loving Lana Del Rey like most, my hair and bling were a nod in her styling direction.
A guilty purchase but a piece I know will last through tests of time.x

Just A Little Crush

I think I may just love Rihanna, after seeing her last night at the 02 arena the first of her ten night stint I now want to walk around in light fish net stockings and neon coloured clothing. Tour designer Adam Selman must have had so much fun and for my favourite outfit the bejewelled bikini Adam brought in jewellery designer Tom Binns to paint some of the 800 Swarovski Crystals onto the two piece. The show was nothing but a big sexual connotation and empowering to women.
I loved it.
Rum pa pa pum, rum pa pa pum.

A Dip Dye Affair

"After the hardness of Fall, we wanted something gentle and kind, fragile but strong, too,"
tells Marc Jacobs on his SS12 collection for Louis Vuitton.

With a white carousel setting and doll like outfits in soft pastel palettes we see just how sweet it is, a strong edge shown with the use of matte crocodile motorcycle jackets and laser cut out flowers. The dip dye craze has now jumped onto the catwalk and onto the feathered embellished dresses.
Moss completes the show in an all white sugar plum fairy dress, innocent and sweet like a candy treat.

She Will Go To The Ball....

Classic, charming and cinderellaesque springs to mind when you see the first few nude dresses of Elie Saabs runway show in Paris. Then you are hit with a bang of colour in different tones of mustard, orange, emerald and blue all following in a cycle of style. Sequins were a big statement for Saab and I must say I do love a dress that sparkles and when they didnt shine through embellishment the glamour came from the floating floor length numbers to the thigh high slits showing off the models never ending legs. Destined to dazzle.

You Minx

I forgot to mention another highlight from last weeks show was my fab nails! Everyone seems to love them and I'm definitely going to search myself for some Minx Nails in different styles! So far they've lasted a week as expected but Im hoping for longer! Painting your nails is so last year! ;)

Bitter Sweet

I was very excited last week to be a part of LFW, having done catwalks before this was an exciting step up. I seem to be fortunate enough to do these things with my friend Karis so here are a couple of pictures of us behind the scenes at the FAD show at Freemasons Hall. I am awaiting my shots from the show, which I will of course put up.

The following day I went to Somerset House to see a presentation by New Power Studio; where my best friend Sasha previously worked. It was very different to a catwalk but obviously still an opportunity to show the clothes off as well as their creativity with the setting, mood and music. Ive always liked the shows done by New Power Studio as there is always a twist to your every day catwalk. The presentation included a coffin made for two, a pregnant woman with a bag over her head as well as two beautiful child models wearing white roller blades. A dark yet humorous tone to a fresh take on fashion.
